Diploma in Early Childhood Care and Education-Teaching

The Diploma in Early Childhood Care and Education-Teaching (DECCE-T) equips participants with the necessary theoretical knowledge and skills to transfer theories into practice to become effective early childhood educators. It enables participants to be skillful in observation and to apply knowledge of child development as well as socio-constructivist theories to planning, designing and evaluating learning environments and experiences that are child-responsive. It also enables participants to collaborate with colleagues, parents and other professionals in supporting children’s development in all areas.

Admission Criteria: 5 G.C.E. ‘O’ Level credits including a B4 in EL1. Those with C5 or C6 in EL1 must obtain a minimum band 6.5 IELTS
