The academic entry points are the foundational certificate and diploma courses viz. Certificate in Pre-school Teaching (CPT) and Diploma in Pre-school Education-Teaching (DPT). Successful completion of the DPT provides an entry to the Diploma in Preschool Education-Leadership (DPL).
The Specialist Diploma (SD) qualification is a dual qualification with a combination of both the teaching and leadership components of Diploma in Pre-School Education-Teaching and Diploma in Pre-school Education-Leadership. It builds on prior academic qualifications of individuals and allows them to pursue a teaching qualification followed by one in leadership. After acquiring the diploma/s in Pre-school Education, the candidate can then move on to acquiring the Bachelor and Masters degrees in Early Childhood Education.
